Ps Vita Memory Card Slot Not Working

I was able to carefully insert the slot online broken memory card back into my card reader and remove the files and then i promptly through it away to risk any further issues. I am the original version.

Choose option 2 rebuild database (or something like that, not sure about the exact wording) and wait for it to finish (might take a couple of minutes). That little piece of plastic was just preventing the card from getting deep enough into the sd slot to be locked in place. So yes, it's possible you broke the slot by jamming something unrelated into it.

I did turn the vita off.
